Perks and Benefits
(a) In addition to the pay, the Regular staff are entitled to the benefits of DA, Transport Allowance, LTC, Contributory Pension as per NPS, subsidized schooling for two children, Death cum Retirement gratuity, Leave encashment etc as admissible as per Sainik Schools Society Rules & Regulations in vogue and as amended from time to time. The appointment will be made with all India transferability clause.
(b) Rent free accommodation as available in the school campus for all the posts (Regular & contractual).
(c) Free Messing for self with cadets during Academic session for all the posts (Regular & Contractual).
Contractual Post :
The contractual post will be for a maximum period of 03 years. However, the total contract duration will not in any case and under any circumstances exceed 03 years effective from the date of appointment. On completion of 11 months from the date of joining, there will be further extension of one year of the contract on the basis of the performance review and institutional requirement. The contract will include a one-month break every year (i.e. after 11 month of service). During the School vacation and break, if the contractual staff is not on active duty then they will receive no remuneration. Contract period can be curtailed by the School due to administrative /policy reasons. The School is not liable to pay any compensation in case of curtailment of the contract period. After completion of contractual engagement of 03 years a fresh recruitment process would be conducted.

3. Last Date For Application
Applications complete in all respect along with said enclosures (Refer Para 4 below)must reach Principal, Sainik School, Amaravathinagar by 25 Aug 2026. Application received late (including postal delay)/ without deposition of application fee/ not in prescribed application form format available in out school website, will be summarily rejected without any intimation. No correspondence will be entertained. By hand /E-mail applications will not be accepted.
4. How to apply:
Applications are required to be filled up through the Google forms. Link is available in the School website www.sainikschoolamaravathinagar.edu.in. In addition to this candidates are required to apply on the prescribed format available for download in our School website www.sainikschoolamaravathinagar.edu.in and forward the same to 'The Principal, Sainik School, Amaravathinagar, Pin- 642 102, Udumalpet Taluk, Tiruppur District (Tamil Nadu)". The candidates are to enclose the following along with duly filled application form :
- (a) Affix Recent Pass port size photograph in the space provided in the Application form.
- (b) Copies of self attested Mark sheets from class 10th std to highest acquired qualification, professional and experience certificates.
- (c) Fee paid certificate in the proforma attached with application.
- (d) The applicant applying as Reserved categories (SC/ST) to avail fee concession are to attach a copy of Valid caste category certificate issued by the concerned authority.
- (e) Please superscribe the envelope with the name of post applied for in BOLD letters.
Applications will be considered only upon receipt of the duly completed hard copy of the application form along with all requisite supporting documents. Submission of the Google Form and payment of the application fee through SBI Collect alone shall not constitute a valid application. Applications for which hard copies and supporting documents are not received by the prescribed date will be summarily rejected and will not be considered for the selection process under any circumstances.
5. Application Fee:
Candidates are advised to pay the application fee (non-refundable) for Rs.500/- (General & OBC/MBC candidate) or Rs.300/- (SC and ST candidate), whichever applicable through online 'SBI Collect' on the link provided at Sainik School Amaravathinagar website under "Online Fee option for Recruitment". After making payment, please take a print of the receipt and attach with Application. They must also enter the payment details in the prescribed format attached with application form. No refund will be made to rejected applicants.
6. Call Letters
Only short listed candidates who fulfil eligibility criteria based on essential qualification (s) will be called for selection process. All details regarding shortlisted candidates to attend selection process, date and time of Exam, schedule of recruitment process, venue will be notified on school website www.sainikschoolamaravathinagar.edu.in. It is the responsibility of candidates to visit school website regularly for latest information/ updates etc. Call letters will be sent only through email to eligible candidates to intimate about the exam. No hard copy of admit card will be sent. Applicants are to clearly mention their own valid and functional email ID, correspondence address, Mobile Number and alternate mobile number clearly and correctly in the Application Form in legible HAND WRITING which is mandatory for communication. School will not be responsible for failure of communication due to non-legible of email address.. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the selection process. Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for boarding and lodging for attending the selection process.

(A) Written Test:
The patterns for question paper for the advertised posts is as appended below :-

(B) Class Demonstration:
Candidates will be required to demonstrate their classroom teaching skills in a live classroom environment on a topic assigned by the Selection Board. The demonstration should be supported by a well-prepared lesson plan and appropriate teaching aids.
(C) Interview:
Candidates will appear before the Selection Board for an interview to assess their subject knowledge, teaching aptitude, communication skills, and overall suitability for the post. The topics and areas of assessment will be determined by the Board.
8. Date of Conduct of Selection Process
Selection process will be tentatively conducted in the third week of Sep 2026 at Sainik School, Amaravathinagar, Udumalpet Taluk, Tiruppur District (Tamil Nadu.)
9. Other Conditions:
- (a) It may be noted that the school is not a State Govt or Central Govt Department / Institution.
- (b) Employment conditions/Service Rules are in consonance with Sainik Schools Society Rules and Regulations in vogue and as amended from time to time
- (c) Selected candidates should be ready to accept additional responsibilities usual to a residential public school or as delegated by the Principal, Sainik School, Amaravathinagar.
- (d) The School administration reserves the right to increase/ decrease/ cancel all or any vacancy due to non-availability of suitable candidates or due to administrative/ policy reasons without assigning any reasons whatsoever. No formal intimation will be given to applicants.
