General Officer Commanding and Chairman of Local Board of Administration of Sainik School Major General Nithin Kohli inspected the Sainik School at Amarvathi Nagar near here on Tuesday.

He inspected a guard of honour by the cadets and reviewed the functioning of the ham radio club and horse riding arena.

Mr Kohli inaugurated a basketball court established at a cost of Rs. 10 lakh.

The capital expenditure was from Member of Parliament’s Constituency Development Fund.

Collector C. Samayamoorthy was present.
